 Many of us has already learned in our college days that before doing any foundation work excavation is must. In technical term it is also called as earth cutting. But how to do excavation or what to do before excavation, does you know that. Well as a fresher you may be aware of these things. But if you are experienced one you know about it. But then also there little difference left about it. Well let's discuss about that.  As per the drawing reading, the layout plan of foundation should be taken more than the given drawing. If in drawing it is given 2400 x 1800 then for marking you should have to take 2600 x 2000. Because after excavation you should have to place the shuttering for concreting for the footing. But then also the gap you placed is not enough because after excavation by JCB there are lots of error which you cannot identify it but can determine it.  The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient for the work. 

 As we all know that AutoCAD is a designing and drafting software. We can do many things in AutoCAD which is unbelievable and really surprise. Many architect and designers design a plan in AutoCAD for different clients. They charge a very huge amount for it and earn their livelihood.  Designing a plan in AutoCAD is not an easy task. You should have many practice on it and do it day by day. Then only you can become perfect in designing. You can also design 3D view in AutoCAD but it is not very aesthetic to look at. Because here the textures are not available and custom render view is not so high quality. For that another 3D softwares are used such as Revit, 3DS Max and many more. As we all know planning of a building is done by an architect or by a planning engineer. But most of the plannings are made according to a plan proposed by Civil Engineer. Because without proposing any construction site it is impossible to plan the details of the building.  According to a planning engineer he should have to make around more than four plans of the same building such as layout plan, building plan, beam plan, truss or ceiling plan etc. and so on. He should have to be careful about the site plan so that there should not be any wrong in his work. He might have sufficient knowledge about the execution of building and how to analyze each and every work in the site.  The most important work of a building plan is about to understand the drawing and how the plan is made.  There are many reasons and many might may think why Earth cutting, Brick soiling and PCC should be made in a day. Well the thing is that if this thing is not done today then the contractor charge may increase the next day for the labourers.  In many cases and many sites you may see, after doing excavation the water table rises up from the underground water and day by day it increases. And it is not possible to do any foundation work in this condition. So the water is first cleared out from the excavation pit and then it is seen that the base of the excavation is of uniform shape or not. If it is uniform then the center point is marked with the help of rod or stick above the excavation pit, and if it is not then first the ground is made uniform and cut it along the edges of the footing and after that that the center point is marked.  After marking the center point on the excavation pit it is again measured with the tape in all four sides whether accurate measure is taken or not as per

 There are some skills that are need to be gained by site engineer, contractor and mistry as well as the site supervisor. They must be aware and conquer about the cure of concrete. There are some certain issues which are to be faced during placing of concrete.         (a) First of all the reinforcement should be checked whether the nominal cover or clear cover is given or not. Otherwise this will lead to the rusting of reinforcement which will caused due to its atmospheric effect when water or muddy soil will enter into the pores or voids of the concrete.        (b) The next typical thing is that the shuttering should be checked whether it is straight or not or according to the drawing is given or not, max. end to end distance is provided or not. Because after pouring the concrete it will not be possible to adjust or remake it. Therefore all things should be checked before placing of concrete.        (c) The most important thing is that, the vibrator must be their at the site. Without

 For any kind of concrete work whether it is PCC or RCC concrete mixture machine is necessary. Otherwise the work remains default or it dosen't make any progress. So to overcome this defect the concrete machine should be checked properly and it should give a uniform result.  For any company work whether it is private or government the mixture machine is necessary. As with this machine the work becomes more efficient and easy for the workers. But what happens when the machine gives some problem or it dosen't moves properly. H ow you will make the mixture or how will you work on that day? So there are some things that you will face some day. Just learn the tricks before. The most common problem of mixture machine is the handle or the shaft which dosen't moves properly. So you should have to be careful with that. Many works remain undone on the site and the workers also find it difficult to do it. Because they also have pain and ache and therefore rest is also necessary. 

 First of all I would suggest to all site engineers that be careful of mistry, mason etc. They would prevail that they know each and everything about construction or building a structure. As a fresher you would never know of about how to argue with the mistry or how to understand them about the work. All that things seem to impossible but rather you would have to make it possible. Because if you leave the site by showing your tiredness or relaxation about arguing with them they would think you to be a lame fellow and dosen't know anything about the work, as how to execute it or how to make the work fast and steady. Apart from mistry and masons, if you work in a company as a fresher then be careful about supervisor and contractors (but main with supervisor). As supervisor always remains on the site and guide the laborers, he thinks himself to be the best but does all 2 no. works.
