EARTH CUTTING, BRICK SOILING, PCC SHOULD BE MADE IN A DAY

There are many reasons and many might may think why Earth cutting, Brick soiling and PCC should be made in a day. Well the thing is that if this thing is not done today then the contractor charge may increase the next day for the labourers.

In many cases and many sites you may see, after doing excavation the water table rises up from the underground water and day by day it increases. And it is not possible to do any foundation work in this condition. So the water is first cleared out from the excavation pit and then it is seen that the base of the excavation is of uniform shape or not. If it is uniform then the center point is marked with the help of rod or stick above the excavation pit, and if it is not then first the ground is made uniform and cut it along the edges of the footing and after that that the center point is marked.

After marking the center point on the excavation pit it is again measured with the tape in all four sides whether accurate measure is taken or not as per drawing. if the measurement is accurate then the only the brick soiling or sand filling is done. After brick soiling then the bottom formwork is made for PCC. The mixture is made in concrete machine and after that it is brought to the excavation site for PCC work. If it is not done on this day the next day it becomes difficult for the workers, as taking out water repeatedly from the ground is not an easy task. It is a waste of time and lack of work to upgrade it. So the after earth cutting the Brick soiling and PCC work should be done in a day.
Here you can see that the water level rises up after doing brick soiling also.

Wait, but there are some sites where earth cutting, sand filling, and PCC is done in different days. Definitely the sites where excavation pit has less water in it then it done in different days, but where the water table is high or it rises above to the ground surface then all three works should be done in a day. Otherwise the task becomes repeated.

The RCC Footing which is done before but the water table rises up.

On the very next day the RCC foundation is done. Otherwise if the water table rises up from the ground then it becomes difficult for the mistry to work on it. So the RCC foundation is done on the very next and after that again the next day the column head is done and repeatedly the process goes on for others foundation also. As the column head is finished the back filling work is done after that to make it free from rubbish and unwanted materials and as well as for the water level to remain inside the foundation.
