How to Render in Revit

So today I made a building view in Revit Architecture software. And you can see below. But how I made or how you can be able to make it. Isn’t it that’s what you are wondering about. Because I have taught you how to make Walls, Doors, Windows, Ventilators etc. and etc. all those things. And even also the Decal properties. But I have not Told you how to make floor by floor, or even also how to make columns for the house you are going to make. For columns you can get in the Architecture view tab. But for making any building of about two to three stories or even more I will explain you that later. But now look at my image.

Whatever be this is really a pity thing that I have forgot to tell you. But ok, I told you only that I will explain this in the next blog, of about how to make floors by floors. But now it’s time to how you will make this or how you will insert these trees, sky, background images, land, soil etc. and etc. It’s very simple, yes it’s simple because it’s a Revit software used for building modelling purpose only. These are all readymade elements you can find in Revit or you can download from Google images.

From here you can see that ready-made images are available here. First you complete the 3D modelling and after that clicking on the 3D view house button or in the Project Template, then you go for Massing and Site tab button. As you can see in the images. So click on that and there you can see many options are available there. Such as Topo-surface, Site Component as tree image, Parking Component where you can make parking place, Building Pad etc. From there you can make the surface as you want.

So you can place trees, as there are many trees available. Oh! But one thing I forgot to tell you. Keep the plan view in ground level or at 0 level. Because all those, trees, ground surface, parking slots will be made on Ground surface only. At least you have some ideas about these, because you are an Engineering student.
In the same way you can make Ground surface as well as the parking slots, swimming pool, Gardening area. Oh what I talked about these! I have even not mentioned in this topic only about those swimming pool, gardening. Anyway all these things also will be discussed later in this website. But the main focus is that you should be serious at your work.

And now the main thing is that you want to know how I gave that background sky image. Or from where I got and where it’s available. You should not wonder about that neither you have to take some tension. You only just need net and download it from online website where clouds or sky images are available. You download it and save it in a file.

After that click on the Render option and you can see that a dialog box appears. From there, that means from the dialog box come to the bottom and see a background box also appears. Click on style and choose the option image. Then again a new dialog box appears.

After that click on Image and a Import Image dialog box appears. From there you select the required image you want. And then click on Open button. The image will appear in the white box that you can see above.

And after that click on OK button. The required image will appear on the screen after you Render it. You can a option Render button appears in the Render dialog box.

Okk bye, bye, see you in the next blog.

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient ...

How to edit grid systems in Etabs

Okk in the last blog I had discussed about Etabs for beginners. You have got at least some ideas about it. If you have not seen it then click here . But here I am going to discuss how you will edit Grids/Columns in Etabs. As I had said by clicking on "Modify/Show Grid Systems" option a new dialog box appears, their you can edit anything. But you can also do it by different way. On the left side in grid dimensions (plan) you can see that two options are available. One is "Uniform Grid Spacing" and the other is "Custom Grid Spacing". Click on the "Custom Grid Spacing" and you see that Edit Grid Data option is available. Just click on that, and you can edit it as you want by giving the required dimensions in X-axis and Y-axis only. Ok whatever be lets come to the topic. If you have done it like as I have shown earlier then follow those steps. And the one who were new to this blog this is just for that. That's why I underlined with BLUE line an...

Excavation for RE Wall.

So, hey guys! How are you? You might have read my previous blogs about panel casting  and panel placing . Now it's time to learn about panel erection or what to do after 3-4 months of casting the panels. So the first step is about excavation for RE Wall. Then only you can erect the panels. So let us learn about this excavation part.  You all know excavation work is done by JCB or Falkland. To excavate the soil and then carry it to the other dumped areas. But before excavation you all know, to marked the center line as well as the outer line also so that the area doesn't excavate much as per the requirement. For excavation just you need to take 500mm more, then that of the given drawing.  Doing this excavation is easy. But what to do if it's flooded with rain water/ or water coming from other sources. Definitely your answer will be to do dewatering work with a water pump. That's fine. But do this dewatering work with almost by fixing 3-4 water pumps. So that it soaks...
