Importing AutoCAD into Revit

So today in this blog I am going to explain how I made an AutoCAD 2D plan and then imported it into Revit software. So you read this blog from starting to end, then only you'll understand clearly.

This is all basic and not any crisscross idea or ruthless situation. It's very simple. First you do all the basic steps in AutoCAD, and you know what is that. Going to Format, set up the units and bla, bla, bla. After that making all these set-up you start with the drawing plan. You yourself have created a idea "how my drawing plan will look like" or "how will I make it?" But before going into complex, first you make a simple drawing plan, like this

First you make the lines and after that create the room size and area of your own. You are exclusively expert in that. This is the first and foremost drawing plan you have to make. And the rest you know how to make it. All boundary lines, room shape and size, passage, staircase etc. you know it very well.

Now you go for complex, making all those walls, columns, doors, windows etc. and many more. This process takes a large step and it also takes many hours. You have to be smart and quick and do it in a very easy step and procedure. You build your skills and caliber of your own.

After completing walls, columns, doors, windows, ventilators, chajja's etc. you save the file. No need to give dimensions or write anything in the box. This is done only for the client to show it. But here we are discussing about importing AutoCAD into Revit. You can see my plans here

I have made all these plans in AutoCAD and after that given all about these details. Wait I will show you one-by-one.

So these are the plans, and the details of these plans are given below. For the room dimensions which you have not seen or whose dimensions cannot be given directly should be mentioned in a table like this.

But since I have experience in all these so I had done directly. I did it by looking at the AutoCAD plan. After that I copied the ground floor and paste it on the first floor as well as on the second floor also.

And then I imported the flower pots & flower plants, and the tress also. I have made the rendering soon as I have well experienced about that. Before It was lacking me to do all those things. But soon I have got experienced about making these things, it doesn't took much more time to do it. Here's my rendering view.

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval. All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation. For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient for the work.

Excavation for RE Wall.

So, hey guys! How are you? You might have read my previous blogs about panel casting and panel placing . Now it's time to learn about panel erection or what to do after 3-4 months of casting the panels. So the first step is about excavation for RE Wall. Then only you can erect the panels. So let us learn about this excavation part. You all know excavation work is done by JCB or Falkland. To excavate the soil and then carry it to the other dumped areas. But before excavation you all know, to marked the center line as well as the outer line also so that the area doesn't excavate much as per the requirement. For excavation just you need to take 500mm more, then that of the given drawing. Doing this excavation is easy. But what to do if it's flooded with rain water/ or water coming from other sources. Definitely your answer will be to do dewatering work with a water pump. That's fine. But do this dewatering work with almost by fixing 3-4 water pumps. So that it soaks mo

Machineries used in RE Wall

So far you all have known that, how RE Wall construction is done and how they are installed. You might have known from the previous blogs. The panels, how are they casted and how the erection work is done. If you have not seen my previous blogs then you will understand nothing. So, the type of machineries used in RE Walls are as follows :- Hydra Dumper Grader Roller Falkland JCB Vibrator HYDRA Hydra is the most important machinery used in RE Wall. Without hydra, nothing work is possible to do. Because to lift the panels, you will need crane or hydra. After casting for demolding the panels, you will need hydra only and also for panel erection, hydra is only the main aim to lift the panels. So HYDRA is the heart of RE Wall. Without this machine you will have to wait for somedays for work. DUMPER Dumper is used for transportation, to bring the soil. aggregates etc. f
