What to do after Panel Erection.

No need to worry these much. After Panel Erection the work is simple. You need to backfill it up-to the loop/cavity. So that Geogrids can enter upto the required position. Fill the soil inside the panels with fine aggregates and rolled it/compact it. After fully compaction of soil your work is ready for fixing the Geogrids into it.

Bring the drawing and see the measurements of Geogrids given in their, and cut it according to it. Geogrid comes in a full length of 100 meters and width around 1.9 meters. Like this.....

After that you cut it piece-by-piece according to required width and required length. When the required number of geogrids are cutted you place it by side or bring it to the erection area to insert it. So that the geogrids can fix the panels. Do it carefully so that no panels remain without it and even as well no panels fall backward. This is the way of fixing Geogrid inside the panels.

As you can see in the image that one side Geogrid is fixed and on the other side it is not. This is because of one reason as the other side is 100mm above while the other is reverse. Because Geogrids doesn't overlap each other. It should be fixed 100mm or 200mm one above the other.

As you can see in the image above that one side of the panel face is fixed with Geogrid before and after filling 100mm with sand the other face of the panel, is going to fix with Geogrid. Like this in all the cavities upto top, as much of as panels needed, should be fixed with Geogrid.

So now after fixing layer by layer of panels with Geogrid, what is your next work to do? There is not much to do any. You bring the EPDM pads to fix the panels on the top layer. These EPDM pads are mandatory so that the panels remain horizontally 20mm up and also for years to to come these EPDM pads gets stuff and degrades it, so that the gum like substance can attached the panels. With all these concepts the next erection is done with this step.

Bring the panels and make erection on one-top of the other like these........

After making the erection, now it's time to align the panels. You align it with the help of rod or sabool and align it by edge-edge. After making the alignment and fixing it at required position, now it's time to give the Geo-textile at the inner-facia of the panels. This geo-textile is given so that sand & termites does go out and enter into it respectively.

This is given just to protect the panels/RE Wall so that no defect can occur in it. Oh wait! but I have not told you one thing, how to give this geo-textile and how to fix it. Well those geo-textiles comes in roll or bundle and you have to open the roll and spread it up to few meters and cut the geo-textile 300mm each. After bring some Fevicol or Maida and make a paste of it. Give this gum on the geo-textile and place it at the side-by-side gap. So that no gap remains besides the panels. You insert it nicely and quickly so that the work remains continuous.

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient ...

How to edit grid systems in Etabs

Okk in the last blog I had discussed about Etabs for beginners. You have got at least some ideas about it. If you have not seen it then click here . But here I am going to discuss how you will edit Grids/Columns in Etabs. As I had said by clicking on "Modify/Show Grid Systems" option a new dialog box appears, their you can edit anything. But you can also do it by different way. On the left side in grid dimensions (plan) you can see that two options are available. One is "Uniform Grid Spacing" and the other is "Custom Grid Spacing". Click on the "Custom Grid Spacing" and you see that Edit Grid Data option is available. Just click on that, and you can edit it as you want by giving the required dimensions in X-axis and Y-axis only. Ok whatever be lets come to the topic. If you have done it like as I have shown earlier then follow those steps. And the one who were new to this blog this is just for that. That's why I underlined with BLUE line an...

Importing AutoCAD into Revit

So today in this blog I am going to explain how I made an AutoCAD 2D plan and then imported it into Revit software. So you read this blog from starting to end, then only you'll understand clearly.  This is all basic and not any crisscross idea or ruthless situation. It's very simple. First you do all the basic steps in AutoCAD, and you know what is that. Going to Format, set up the units and bla, bla, bla. After that making all these set-up you start with the drawing plan. You yourself have created a idea "how my drawing plan will look like" or "how will I make it?" But before going into complex, first you make a simple drawing plan, like this    First you make the lines and after that create the room size and area of your own. You are exclusively expert in that. This is the first and foremost drawing plan you have to make. And the rest you know how to make it. All boundary lines, room shape and size, passage, staircase etc. you know it very well.  Now you g...
