How to do Panel Casting

Many of you are confused about how to do Panel casting & how does it work. Panel casting is a very simple thing. Neither you should have to do any hard work nor you should have to count for any details. The work should be done perfectly, that's the only thing it matters. But before that I want to say if you have not read about RE Wall design than you are going to understand nothing. First read that blog after that you will understand here. Click on the following link.

First of all you should have to know about the cavity connector's, which you have to give before panel casting. It's 255mm in length, 140m in breadth & 115mm in height. You can see in the image.

Not in all cases you will get the same measurement. In every cases it's different. But the main thing is that, you see whether all the cavity connector's from center-center is 800mm or not.
See here, the c/c distance of cavity is 400, 400 i.e., 800mm to both side.

But what is that cavity. Or how the cavity comes. You can see at the image. It's of black color and it's fitted in a reinforcement cage like this. And that time only you have to maintain cavity c/c distance. Otherwise after casting it's of no use. You cannot even slide the cavity to maintain it's c/c distance.

And after panel casting the panel will look like this. It's very unique and this type of work is very interesting after you know it.

So, all these things are over. Now what to do after panel casting. You cannot keep the panels like this in the mold, after casting. You have to take the panels and place it somewhere. So that it gets hardened, the concrete also gets stronger bonding, & after that ready for launching.

So how you will launch it, that I will explain you in another blog. But here I will explain you, how you will place it. Or how you will do the placing.
You all have seen Hydra, or say (crane), that is used for to lift something. Some kind of heavy loads. That Hydra is used for lifting the panels. First of all you have to bring tuition or bell, whatever makes you easy to lift. After that, you have to insert it at the cavity box and then lift it by Hydra. But before that make sure, whatever material you take to lift doesn't takes much more time to finish the work. Otherwise the whole day you have to go on by doing that. Just look at both the images. Here I will explain you briefly.
Here the panel is lifted by both tuitions & bell. It takes much more time and even gets difficult to lift up. First you insert the tuition, after that you take the D-cycle and put it, after that again you insert the bell in the D-cycle😔. After that you lift it by Hydra. It's a lengthy process and what's the time you take to do it fast, it takes a mid-day to complete it. Max. 2-3 hrs. So this process is not preferable.

But here you see, only 4-tuitions are brought of length3.5m each, and after that you make a ring out of it. Then you insert it inside the cavity box (4 cavity box) and then lift it by Hydra. This process is very fast and it takes only 2-3 minutes to place one panel. It's simple and this process is very fast also. This is more preferable.

So you ahve understood how to do Panel Casting and how to do Panel placing. Next I will explain you of launching of panels. Thank you.

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient ...

How to edit grid systems in Etabs

Okk in the last blog I had discussed about Etabs for beginners. You have got at least some ideas about it. If you have not seen it then click here . But here I am going to discuss how you will edit Grids/Columns in Etabs. As I had said by clicking on "Modify/Show Grid Systems" option a new dialog box appears, their you can edit anything. But you can also do it by different way. On the left side in grid dimensions (plan) you can see that two options are available. One is "Uniform Grid Spacing" and the other is "Custom Grid Spacing". Click on the "Custom Grid Spacing" and you see that Edit Grid Data option is available. Just click on that, and you can edit it as you want by giving the required dimensions in X-axis and Y-axis only. Ok whatever be lets come to the topic. If you have done it like as I have shown earlier then follow those steps. And the one who were new to this blog this is just for that. That's why I underlined with BLUE line an...

How to make 3D Render in Etabs

Ok, so in the last two blogs I had described about how to make  beams, columns, slabs  and  staircase  in Etabs. But as a beginner for somebody it's easy whereas for someone it's rough to understand or have misconception. If you have not understood or read it then go to the above links and practice it again. And if you have understood then it's good and go forward for the upcoming steps. Because the more you learn, the more you understand. The more you get knowledge, the more you learn new things. So if you want to render like as if I had rendered it then you are on the right website. Just follow the instructions as I have told you.  This is the Rendering view, which I have Rendered. You can also see the 3D View also. After making the complete building structure and modelling all those beams, columns, slabs, staircase etc. you come to the ribbon wizard which is above plan view or 3-D view. You can see a Tick-mark ☑ option which is also known as "Set Displa...
