How to import AutoCAD file to 3DS Max

Ok, so long after I have started to explain about 3DS Max here. But first of all I would like to ask you whether you have practiced small small things in 3DS Max or not. Whether you know the commands and tools about 3DS Max. If you have not learnt those things then you can click here. You will get to know each and everything starting from small things to bigger ones. So that you can grow up your career and try to make anything you know.

So ok, let's come to the topic now. So you have the 3DS Max software in your PC. You double click and open it. After opening the software you go to File menu or the logo you see as 3 in your system. Just click on there and you will see a option called Import. Click on on that and the required dialog box appears on the screen.

Oh ho🙆! I forgot to to tell you that first make a file in AutoCAD. Ok, whatever be you first make a dwg. file in AutoCAD and after that you bring it to 3DS Max. But anyway you know it😛. After making the drawing file you save it wherever you want and give a name, so that you does not get difficult to open it while searching the file. After that click on the file and then click on Open button.

After that a dialog box appears as Proxy Objects Detected. You ignore it and check on the box "Do not show this message again" and then on Yes button. But this happens when you start as a Fresher or as a new user. Later on it does not appear again. So this discussion is only for fresher students whether Architects or Civil Engineers😉😊😊.

After that again another dialog box appears "AutoCAD DWG/DXF Import Options" with three tabs "Geometry", "Layers", "Spline Rendering". You check each of the tabs whether the given options are checked or not or whether the scale, measurements, layers are correct or not. After checking all of these you click on OK button.

You can see the Drawing file appears in your 3DS Max. In all the views you can see it, whether it's left or right or front or top or perspective. And if you want to see the drawing in large icon or box you can press Alt+W from your keyboard. Select any of the view you want to see and press it on your keyboard Alt+W.

And if you want to learn more about this importing file in 3DS Max then you can click here. You can also get some useful ideas in You Tube also. Ok, bye-bye see you in the next blog. You can follow me on

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. How to edit grid systems in Etabs

Okk in the last blog I had discussed about Etabs for beginners. You have got at least some ideas about it. If you have not seen it then click here . But here I am going to discuss how you will edit Grids/Columns in Etabs. As I had said by clicking on "Modify/Show Grid Systems" option a new dialog box appears, their you can edit anything. But you can also do it by different way. On the left side in grid dimensions (plan) you can see that two options are available. One is "Uniform Grid Spacing" and the other is "Custom Grid Spacing". Click on the "Custom Grid Spacing" and you see that Edit Grid Data option is available. Just click on that, and you can edit it as you want by giving the required dimensions in X-axis and Y-axis only. Ok whatever be lets come to the topic. If you have done it like as I have shown earlier then follow those steps. And the one who were new to this blog this is just for that. That's why I underlined with BLUE line an...

Excavation for RE Wall.

So, hey guys! How are you? You might have read my previous blogs about panel casting  and panel placing . Now it's time to learn about panel erection or what to do after 3-4 months of casting the panels. So the first step is about excavation for RE Wall. Then only you can erect the panels. So let us learn about this excavation part.  You all know excavation work is done by JCB or Falkland. To excavate the soil and then carry it to the other dumped areas. But before excavation you all know, to marked the center line as well as the outer line also so that the area doesn't excavate much as per the requirement. For excavation just you need to take 500mm more, then that of the given drawing.  Doing this excavation is easy. But what to do if it's flooded with rain water/ or water coming from other sources. Definitely your answer will be to do dewatering work with a water pump. That's fine. But do this dewatering work with almost by fixing 3-4 water pumps. So that it soaks...
