PIPE FITTING MATERIALS

The most confusing work of every Civil Engineers and as a fresher also, plumbing work is undefinable. It keeps on changing in some places and works. There are many small items required. The main items that requires are elbow, coupling, tee, ball valve etc. and many more items. For more details you can see this video

Sometimes it such happens that the pipe should be fitted on the back side of the wall i.e., outer wall and also sometimes in the inner wall. That's not just a mistake but it depends upon the situation where to fit and how to fit. But normally every pipes are fitted inside the wall such that it cannot be seen from inside or outside. And all these are done by using different technologies and methods.

Well now let us discuss about the required materials that are needed for pipe fittings. The first material needed is pipe, that's a silly thing how pipe can be fitted without bringing pipe. And all those pipe are available in 10-12 ft length.

Next is ELBOW:- Elbow is needed when you used to change the direction of the pipe. Elbows are available in 90° and 45° as per requirement in the house. But in most cases 90° elbows are used.

The two blue tick shown in the picture is the elbow.

COUPLING:- Coupling is used to join the pipe in long distances. Because every is available in 10 ft in length. So for example if the required length required is 50-70 ft then you can join the pipe with the help of this coupling. That means if you want to join more than one pipe then coupling is used.

TEE:-  When you want the pipe in three directions then tee section is used. As it creates a junction between them so it becomes help and efficient to transfer water in all three sides.

The blue tick shown in the picture is the tee section.

UNION:-  Union is used to check and open the pipe. It works same as that of coupler but the main thing is that this is provided at opening joints. So that when something defect occurs in pipe it can be open and seen. After that it is remolded again. It becomes useful for the house owners and mistry to come and check it.

BALL VALVE:- This is provided at the water tanks for transferring the water from up to the down. Actually two ball valves are provided one for going water to the tank from the motor and another for coming water to the house from the tank.

TAPE:- Well you everybody know why tape is used for. Yes, just to come out water when it requires for us. But why I am saying this, because tapes are available of different length and of different shapes. But for length bring the tape which is 2 inch more from the wall. Otherwise it becomes a faulty use at later stage when year's passed by.

DOOR ELBOW:- Well door elbow is the thing that is required to open and clean it the pipe when rubbish materials are hidden. It makes the water flow slow and as a result it gets jammed in it. So this door elbow is the most useful metal when pipeline is made. Because it cleans the dust and unwanted materials when required.

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient for the work.

Excavation for RE Wall.

So, hey guys! How are you? You might have read my previous blogs about panel casting  and panel placing . Now it's time to learn about panel erection or what to do after 3-4 months of casting the panels. So the first step is about excavation for RE Wall. Then only you can erect the panels. So let us learn about this excavation part.  You all know excavation work is done by JCB or Falkland. To excavate the soil and then carry it to the other dumped areas. But before excavation you all know, to marked the center line as well as the outer line also so that the area doesn't excavate much as per the requirement. For excavation just you need to take 500mm more, then that of the given drawing.  Doing this excavation is easy. But what to do if it's flooded with rain water/ or water coming from other sources. Definitely your answer will be to do dewatering work with a water pump. That's fine. But do this dewatering work with almost by fixing 3-4 water pumps. So that it soaks mo

Machineries used in RE Wall

So far you all have known that, how RE Wall construction is done and how they are installed. You might have known from the previous blogs. The panels, how are they casted and how the erection work is done. If you have not seen my previous blogs then you will understand nothing. First go and understand these articles by clicking on the link and then only you will understand here briefly.  So, the type of machineries used in RE Walls are as follows :-  Hydra  Dumper  Grader  Roller  Falkland  JCB  Vibrator  HYDRA  Hydra is the most important machinery used in RE Wall. Without hydra, nothing work is possible to do. Because to lift the panels, you will need crane or hydra. After casting for demolding the panels, you will need hydra only and also for panel erection, hydra is only the main aim to lift the panels. So HYDRA is the heart of RE Wall. Without this machine you will have to wait for somedays for work.  DUMPER  Dumper is used for transportation, to bring the soil. aggregates etc. f
