STEEL INFRASTRUCTURE

Many high rise buildings are made of steel with nuts and bolts. There are many structures such as bridges, buildings, colony, electric posts etc. are made of steel. These structures seems really interesting when it is coated with glass or color painted. Many large and infrastructure companies are trying to develop the status so that the structure remains long lasting and durable.  Many expensive buildings such as skyscrapers, apartment, hotels, steel bridges, steel cables etc. are all made of steel so that it remains strong and durable. There are many steel companies in India where you can work in: such as SAIL , BALVI , SISCOL , JSW , Tata Steel , Jindal Steel & Power ,  Zamil Steel ,  DeltaSteel  etc. and many more. Any construction work made of steel infrastructure looks very interesting and I feel myself working in this kind of project.  The world's tallest building "Burj Khalifa" is an example of building made of steel. Only the foundation part is made of concret

SOIL

As we all know that Karl Van Terzaghi is the Father of Soil Mechanics after his research and techniques and behaviour of the soil particles. It is derived from the Latin word solium.  He defined soil mechanic as follows " Soil mechanics is the application of laws of mechanics and hydraulics to engineering problems dealing with sediments and other unconsolidated accumulations of solid particles produced by the mechanical and chemical disintegration of rocks regardless of whether or not they contain an admixture or organic constituents ." But do you know how are soils formed? As a Civil Engineer you should have to clearly define about the formation of soil. Because all infrastructures are built on the earth or soil. Well soil is formed by the decomposition and disintegration of rocks which are laid down for about million of years. The disintegration of rocks is caused by:-   a)  Mechanical weathering    b)  Chemical weathering      c)  Biological weathering TYPES OF SOIL

INTERIOR DESIGNER

The most love and spiritual work I love about architect designer is that interior design works. It gives well enthusiasm and perspective about work. Every work has some odds and even or minority and majority. But this work doesn't follow any steps in me. It gives me passion to work and love about it. I definitely want to learn this work at any cost. It doesn't matters how much time I invest but the only thing matter is how perfectly I can do it. Even I want to learn all the software's technology required in this field. Software's such as 3DS Max , Google Sketch-Up etc. are used for this work.  The most designable works done in this field are Bedroom Design, Kitchen, Drawing Hall, Office Room, Bath Room etc . and many more. But this feels really interesting. As it gives nice appearance after completing the work. Moreover, it gives a nice and pleasing appearance which looks damnn good to look at it.  Actually the main work is about furniture's, colouring and lighti

TURBINES AND PUMPS

TURBINES A turbine is a device that harnesses the kinetic energy of the fluid, such as water, steam, air and combustion of gases. It turns in to the rotational motion of the device itself. This devices are generally used in engine, electrical generations and propulsions of jet systems. Basically there are two types of turbines :- a) Impulse Turbine    b) Reaction Turbine IMPULSE TURBINE An Impulse Turbine, as the name indicates, is a turbine which runs by the impulse of  water. In an impulse the water from the dam is made to flow through a pipeline, and then through guide mechanism and finally through the nozzle. In such a process, the entire energy of water is converted into kinetic energy, by passing it through the nozzles; which are kept close through the runners. The water enters the running wheel in the form of a jet, which impinges on the buckets, fixed to the outer periphery of the wheel.  The jet of water impinges on the buckets with a high velocity, and after flowing over the

PIPE FITTING MATERIALS

The most confusing work of every Civil Engineers and as a fresher also, plumbing work is undefinable. It keeps on changing in some places and works. There are many small items required. The main items that requires are elbow, coupling, tee, ball valve etc. and many more items. For more details you can see this video  Sometimes it such happens that the pipe should be fitted on the back side of the wall i.e., outer wall and also sometimes in the inner wall. That's not just a mistake but it depends upon the situation where to fit and how to fit. But normally every pipes are fitted inside the wall such that it cannot be seen from inside or outside. And all these are done by using different technologies and methods. Well now let us discuss about the required materials that are needed for pipe fittings. The first material needed is pipe, that's a silly thing how pipe can be fitted without bringing pipe. And all those pipe are available in 10-12 ft length.  Next is ELBOW :- Elbow is

READ BOOKS AND GROW YOUR WEALTH

In today's world the rich becomes and the poor becomes poor. The successful becomes successful while unsuccessful thinks everything is scam. But the man who is rich in health and wealth is the most successful person on the earth. Because being rich is not enough if your health is poor. So the first and foremost duty is make your health rich and carry out your work thoroughly.  Being a Civil Engineer it takes lot of time about thinking a business or reading books. Because the whole day you are in work and even there are some works which you should have to do at home. All this are a part of your life. So never demotivate about your work. But as you grow up with your skills and career then you become expert and lot of time to think about some other projects or to read books. There are many key skills that you can develop by reading books and setting up a business of your own.  The book which I read is "The Power of Broke" written by Daymond John is the most powerful and inte

HOW TO PREPARE FOR GOVERNMENT EXAMS

In this age every boys and girls are crazy about their life what to do and where to go. Many of them have different aspects in life. Some prepare for government exams while some searches for job while some does business and live thier life with own freedom and enthusiasm. But here I am going to say about the students who are preparing for govt. exams and want their parents to live happily.  Before saying about exam let me tell you one thing. Their are some sort of business where you can start with zero investment and their are some kind of works where you can do as a part time from home only. But focus on one thing where you want to go or what you want to be.  Many exams such as SSC, RRB, AAI, GATE, UPSC IES, AMIE, DRDO etc. are the main exams that all students want for. But the main thing is about their syllabus as what to study and what will come. But the main thing is that how to remember. Because their is not only one subject to study for. From engineering subjects to all other rea

SOFTWARES OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

You all may be thinking about the software's that are used in Civil Engineering related field. As a student I had also been thinking about the software's that are used in the Civil Engineering field . But now I am a passed out student from Civil Engineering and I have learnt the software's and quite familiar with all these software's. And if you want to take my advice then I am sure you are going to be the perfect Civil Engineer by learning all these software's. No one can bit you and you are going to get job in every company. Just think yourself that I am the perfect and I can be the one to build myself as a Civil Engineer. 1. AUTOCAD AutoCAD is the primary and basic software of civil engineer. Without learning this you can never be perfect in other software's. This software is the main key role for everybody. Not only Civil but Electrical, Mechanical, Automobile etc. all of them get their first learning with AutoCAD. This is an easy software and you will
