WATER RESOUCE ENGINEERING

Basically what do you understand by Water Resource Engineering? Normally every people thinks that the study of rivers, dams, embankments and the works which are done on rivers and seas falls in the category of Water Resource Engineering. Well that is correct but water resource engineering is a vast field and its the most upcoming technology in future world. Now only you can see that many pipeline connections, fiber optic connection, dams, bridges etc. are all made on rivers and seas. But in the upcoming technology there will be many natural and artificial construction will be made based on water resource technology.

Just forget about all these. And think on Dubai. How was it before 30-40 years ago and how is it now! But before getting a deep knowledge of it just think about the technologies that are used now a days in all over the world. Technologies and artificial intelligence are increasing day by day. All works are done by machineries now a days. So there is a vast increase in knowledge and technologies in the field of water resource works.

You can see for making a bridge or for making a river embankment all machineries and artificial intelligence technologies are used. The study of flow of water, discharge, velocity index, hydraulic mean depth, gradient all these are found out by calculation of artificial intelligence equipment's. Many digital equipment's such as Fleck water softener, ABB's digital water management, digital pH meter pen etc. are all the latest technologies that are used now a days. All chemical and laboratory tests are done to determine the cleansing of water.

Many canals are made for transporting river water to the field where it needs. Many pipelines and dams water transportation is made for supplying rich mineral water and carriage of waste sewage water respectively. Public health engineering falls under this category. They need to study the water physical aspects and transport them to the required area, city, community, villages etc.

Well I forgot to tell about irrigation which is the artificial supply of water to the crops and required households. For every Civil Engineers irrigation is a must used technologies in all water works. Whether it be river, pond, lake, streams, oceans etc. irrigation is must for water transportation to each and every required place.

And at last the most important part is hydrology; the study of floods. It's a basic and every year you can see that floods occur in every countries. So how you can reduce the process of flood and what are the steps and procedures you should have to follow? But still now their are no engineers came out with this solution. So to overcome with this problem the technology should be made high with more cost of thinking and all these precautions should be taken very fast. Otherwise flood is only problem that makes people life difficult with all situations. So every Civil Engineers must upgrade this technology otherwise coming generation will be in problem.

MACHINES USED AT CONSTRUCTION SITES

The most commonly used machine at any construction site is JCB where it's technical name is Backhoe. It is the most common and widely used machine in any construction project whether its big or small project. It becomes easier and makes the work faster for the companies at any time of interval.    All other machines such as Transit Mixer, Concrete Mixer, Roller etc are also used in any kind of road project or building project. Transit Mixer is used for large large building projects, bridge projects, some kind of road projects etc. whereas concrete mixer is for small building projects. Roller is used for road project and bridge project for its elevation.  For any building project the most commonly used machines are concrete mixer, transit mixer, concrete pump, bar bending machine, needle vibrator, water pump and many more. All these machinery works make the work easier and faster. Otherwise if the work is done with labourers it will take more time and less efficient for the work.

Excavation for RE Wall.

So, hey guys! How are you? You might have read my previous blogs about panel casting  and panel placing . Now it's time to learn about panel erection or what to do after 3-4 months of casting the panels. So the first step is about excavation for RE Wall. Then only you can erect the panels. So let us learn about this excavation part.  You all know excavation work is done by JCB or Falkland. To excavate the soil and then carry it to the other dumped areas. But before excavation you all know, to marked the center line as well as the outer line also so that the area doesn't excavate much as per the requirement. For excavation just you need to take 500mm more, then that of the given drawing.  Doing this excavation is easy. But what to do if it's flooded with rain water/ or water coming from other sources. Definitely your answer will be to do dewatering work with a water pump. That's fine. But do this dewatering work with almost by fixing 3-4 water pumps. So that it soaks mo

Machineries used in RE Wall

So far you all have known that, how RE Wall construction is done and how they are installed. You might have known from the previous blogs. The panels, how are they casted and how the erection work is done. If you have not seen my previous blogs then you will understand nothing. First go and understand these articles by clicking on the link and then only you will understand here briefly.  So, the type of machineries used in RE Walls are as follows :-  Hydra  Dumper  Grader  Roller  Falkland  JCB  Vibrator  HYDRA  Hydra is the most important machinery used in RE Wall. Without hydra, nothing work is possible to do. Because to lift the panels, you will need crane or hydra. After casting for demolding the panels, you will need hydra only and also for panel erection, hydra is only the main aim to lift the panels. So HYDRA is the heart of RE Wall. Without this machine you will have to wait for somedays for work.  DUMPER  Dumper is used for transportation, to bring the soil. aggregates etc. f
