HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CIVIL ENGINEER

First of all you forget about Civil Engineer. You just forget that you have passed out Civil Engineer. And just think of that people who are working under engineers. And obviously you will see many people who have not studied anything about engineering, only just by working and working they have gained knowledge everything about construction. And you can see that many contractors, workers, manager, sales man, safety officer, supervisor etc. all those have various knowledge about construction than that of engineers.

So you can see that only gaining knowledge is not so important but also working, practicing and practical knowledge is important. When taking recruitment in any companies they neither see about percentage nor marks. Only just they see about your skills and how to do work with low cost and less wastage. So they heir for an engineer who has experience in their relative field and can give the best profitable income according to the company requirement.

Well that's okk, but what are the skills required for you to become a successful Civil Engineer. So you should have well preferable knowledge about this. Initially their are 5 software skills and 7 Technical skills where you should have to learn. They are AutoCAD, Revit, 3DS Max, Staad Pro, Primavera etc. And technical skills are BBS, Cement test, Soil test, Concrete test, Billing, BOQ, Quantity Survey and Rate Analysis etc. All these skills are mandatory and required for each Civil Engineer. But AutoCAD is the primary and basic software to gain every knowledge.

The reason why I am saying AutoCAD, is because you can learn each and everything such as 2D drawing, 3D drawing and rendering. And when you become master with AutoCAD you can learn Revit and as well as 3DS Max also. But without learning AutoCAD you cannot use the other software's easily.

Staad Pro and Primavera are also important softwares because in which you can make projects, give brief description about work, required quantity of steels etc. can be seen in Staad Pro. Staad Pro is used for design structures whereas Primavera is used for workers required, time management and cost of each and every items of work. And most preferably you will get to know about time required and time management.

So all these are basic softwares and key skills that you will learn about Civil Engineering and you will have to learn. Because without learning this you can never implement the skills that are required for a perfect Civil Engineer. So you can visit to best platform, best institute where you can learn all these skills to become a perfect Civil Engineer.

How to edit grid systems in Etabs

Okk in the last blog I had discussed about Etabs for beginners. You have got at least some ideas about it. If you have not seen it then click here . But here I am going to discuss how you will edit Grids/Columns in Etabs. As I had said by clicking on "Modify/Show Grid Systems" option a new dialog box appears, their you can edit anything. But you can also do it by different way. On the left side in grid dimensions (plan) you can see that two options are available. One is "Uniform Grid Spacing" and the other is "Custom Grid Spacing". Click on the "Custom Grid Spacing" and you see that Edit Grid Data option is available. Just click on that, and you can edit it as you want by giving the required dimensions in X-axis and Y-axis only. Ok whatever be lets come to the topic. If you have done it like as I have shown earlier then follow those steps. And the one who were new to this blog this is just for that. That's why I underlined with BLUE line an...

How to make 3D Render in Etabs

Ok, so in the last two blogs I had described about how to make  beams, columns, slabs  and  staircase  in Etabs. But as a beginner for somebody it's easy whereas for someone it's rough to understand or have misconception. If you have not understood or read it then go to the above links and practice it again. And if you have understood then it's good and go forward for the upcoming steps. Because the more you learn, the more you understand. The more you get knowledge, the more you learn new things. So if you want to render like as if I had rendered it then you are on the right website. Just follow the instructions as I have told you.  This is the Rendering view, which I have Rendered. You can also see the 3D View also. After making the complete building structure and modelling all those beams, columns, slabs, staircase etc. you come to the ribbon wizard which is above plan view or 3-D view. You can see a Tick-mark ☑ option which is also known as "Set Displa...
